WHY BREEZY POINT KINDERGARTEN?
The Breezy Point full day private Kindergarten program is like no other! With a low student to teacher ratio, teachers can provide personalized learning experiences tailored to each student’s unique needs. The Breezy Point Kindergarten curriculum uses stellar learning systems along with a Promethean Board to encourage cooperative and interactive learning. Reading is taught using a balanced literacy curriculum, “SUPERKIDS,” to make reading and writing meaningful. Mathematics is taught with the help of Pearson’s enVision Mathematics program, which is problem-based and uses visual learning. With over 6 acres of land to explore and over 10 themed play areas to enjoy, outdoor play is a key component in the Breezy Point curriculum.

TOP-NOTCH CURRICULUM
The Breezy Point Kindergarten curriculum uses stellar learning systems along with a Promethean Board to encourage cooperative and interactive learning. Reading is taught using a balanced literacy curriculum, “SUPERKIDS,” to make reading and writing meaningful. Mathematics is taught with the help of Pearson’s enVision Mathematics program, which is problem-based and uses visual learning. Students use Scholastic News as part of their social studies program, and take a “Fantasy Trip to Europe” for cultural studies. Hands-on STEM experiments, music, and themed arts and crafts are incorporated into the weekly schedule.
OUTDOOR PLAY AND EXPLORATION
Outdoor play and exploration is a key component of the Breezy Point curriculum. We understand the benefits of taking nature walks, engaging in imaginative play, and just getting out into the fresh air! Breezy Point has over 6 acres of land filled with beautiful trees, open fields, and trails to explore, as well as over 10 themed play areas. Kindergarteners enjoy “shopping for groceries” and “fighting fires” in our child-size town, Breezy Town, as well as digging for treasure at our new Pirate Ship Playground. Although we try to get outside everyday, our gym area is available when there is inclement weather!
